When I purchased this vehicle from this dealership I purchased extra wheel and tire coverage. I was told that the coverage was great because there was no limit to the number of times I could have the wheels repaired, and because I had 2 young drivers in the house the wheels would likely get scraped up more than usual. That part was true, but when I asked for them to be repaired during my recent service, I was told that really wasn't the case. Apparently the insurance does not cover curb damage and "that's what the sales people tell everyone but it isn't accurate." It is disturbing that the sales people would be so dishonest and equally concerning that the service staff would so easily throw the sales staff under the bus! In the end I am left with damaged wheels, no satisfaction, and no one taking responsibility for the mis-information.

I had an excellent experience at Prestige Volkswagen of Stamford thanks to Andrew, the service manager. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled smoothly. He was professional, attentive, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the whole process stress-free. When I came in, he explained the situation with my car and was able to get the part replaced since they had it in stock. Everything was completed within two hours, all before I had to go to work.
