Trims

The 2025 VW Atlas comes in six trims: SE, SE with Technology, Peak Edition, Peak Edition SEL, SEL R-Line Black and SEL Premium R-Line.

• SE: Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 12.0-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto
• SE with Technology: Comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, remote start, a 115-volt household-style power outlet and a hands-free power liftgate
• Peak Edition: An off-road variation on the SE with Technology trim that adds 18-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, all-wheel drive, more rugged front and rear bumpers and a panoramic sunroof
• Peak Edition SEL: Standard features include genuine leather upholstery, a power-adjustable front passenger seat and heated second-row outboard seats
• SEL R-Line Black: Available exclusively with the two-row Atlas and includes the SEL's standard features along with aluminum pedals and a head-up display
• SEL Premium R-Line: Comes with 21-inch alloy wheels, perforated leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and a surround-view camera system

Performance

Every new VW Atlas is equipped with a 269-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that deploys 273 pound-feet of torque. It's matched up with an eight-speed automatic transmission and your choice of either front- or all-wheel drive. When it's equipped properly, the new VW Atlas can tow up to 5,000 pounds. The Atlas with front-wheel-drive gives you 20 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on Bridgeport, CT highways. If you select all-wheel drive, the fuel economy estimates are still solid at 19 MPG city and 26 mpg highway for most models.

Design

The exterior of the VW Atlas includes a front end with a refreshed grille and headlight configuration.
