The 2016 VW Touareg Sport comes equipped with a 3.6 liter V6 FSI engine that develops 280 horsepower and pumps out a healthy 265 lb-ft of torque. All of this power is connected to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission equipped with 4Motion®. This Tiguan has a towing capacity of 7,716 pounds and manages a respectable EPA fuel economy rating of 17/23 mpg**.

The 2016 VW Tiguan S comes with a turbocharged 2.0 liter inline four cylinder TSI engine. This little powerhouse offers 200 hp and pumps out 207 lb-ft of torque. Connection with the wheels is via either a 6-speed automatic with Tiptronic® or 4Motion® 6-speed automatic with Tiptronic® for those who want all-wheel drive. The Tiguan offers a towing capacity of only 2,200 pounds, which is still above average for its class.

Both of these vehicles come equipped with V-Tex® leatherette seat covers, a leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and a multifunctional steering wheel. Both also offer heated front seats for your added comfort. However the Touareg offers Climatronic® dual zone automatic climate control, while the Tiguan offers a Climatic® manual air conditioning system. The 2016 Touareg offers you a 6.5 inch touchscreen controlled infotainment system with 8 speakers in comparison to the 2016 Tiguan with its 5 inch touchscreen.

Along with all of this, the Touareg also offers full Bluetooth® connectivity and SiriusXM® Satellite radio with a limited time subscription, heated exterior mirrors, a remote power rear liftgate, and rain sensing windshield wipers. The Tiguan also offers Bluetooth® connectivity, rain sensing wipers, and a rearview camera, along with push button start and an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror.
